I keep hearing that the GOG version of NV works better than the Steam; is it worth buying again?

@@ElPascalMods It's been a while since I looked, but last time there were a bunch of different mods that claimed to make NV work on modern hardware and OS (ie fix 4GB, fix multi-thread, ect). The ones I tried didn't seem to make the game any more stable. If GOG works w/o the need for mods then it sounds worth it.

Am I the only one who found it really awkward that you can just sleep with Rosie without even saying anything else? Even in NV you have to go through basic dialouge trees to unlock the seduce option. Also, am I the only one lost on what exactly is going on in this story?
