This is a fun technique. I suggest brushing the wink of stella onto the pink flower diecuts to bring out the sparkle spots on the background.

The Wink of Stella is a great idea. I was at Big Lots and saw a can of the spray that you clean your keyboard with. I wondered how that air would work on this technique and bought a can. It works wonderfully. It moves the alcohol and also dries it.

OMG, Patty, SO MUCH FUN!! I LOVE THIS TECHNIQUE & tho’ I’ve seen others share it on KZbin I have not tried it myself! Your video has given me ENCOURAGEMENT & INSPIRATION to “give it a go”!! What size Vellum did you use?? If it was mentioned, I missed it! Sorry! I really appreciate your “step by step” directions (easy to follow!), even for the set-up before beginning the technique! Of course, sharing your color palettes for each, and the card designs using the creations was WONDERFUL! When you were doing the “blowing step”, I found myself blowing at my iPad along with you! Hahahaha! (Hope that brings you a chuckle!!) I LOVE THE FINISHED CREATIONS ON ALL OF THEM, Patty. I appreciate your mentioning the dies, or papers you used in them, too! Your suggestions n’ “thoughts” are so helpful n’ get my mind reelin’ as well! Using the adhesive sheets w/the die cut images is MARVELOUS and cuts down on “poking out those mini sections”! Good tips on adhering the vellum to the layers was so helpful! I look forward to seeing the other designs you’ve created w/this technique, too! Patty, TFS & HAPPY STAMPIN’ & CREATIN’! Sending BIG SMILES from Madison, WI! :-)))))) Have a lovely day! :-)

Beautiful cards I love them all . So if you don't have a blend with a bad tip is there a different way to do the splatters?

I did 90% of the splattering with perfectly good Stampin Blends.. I was just saying IF you have one that is beyond it's usefulness for regular coloring, you can still use it for this.

Your cards are beautiful. Just a little health info, you shouldn't blow on alcohol inks, as you inhale you are inhaling the vapors and it is not good for you. It is best to get a bulb blower like a baby tool or one from amazon to blow air, Also make sure your room is ventilated. enjoy and have fun.
