Sandy, I think I have watched ALL of your tutorial videos! You are an amazing artist and full of great ideas and information especially for newbies like me. I have one question? If I use alcohol ink in my epoxy when on the turner, after its cured, can I sand any imperfections like you would if you had used glitter?

Thank you so much Misty! That is a great question! Depending on the project it will be fine to sand. You just have to be careful not to sand too deep, like beach tumblers for example. There is a layer of glitter under the wave look. If a piece of glitter is popping up through the wave look and you sand that lump down it will remove that portion of wave over the lump. If you’re doing a coffee look swirl or an ink swirl over a plain painted surface a quick sand won’t hurt the inks seeing as they are mixed into the epoxy. But still be careful just very lightly no matter what surface your inks are on. I hope this was helpful 🤗💜

The inks do lighten a bit after epoxy is applied but then they stay that color. I did this one a year ago I believe and still looks the same 🤗
