I just keep going around with alcohol and allowing them to run together when I have trouble getting them to blend …. If I can help any way - let me know 🤗

@@dixiedarlins1202 thanks. I kept going around with the alcohol inks and blending them that way because I couldn’t get the rubbing alcohol to work the way I wanted it to. Then when I put the layer of epoxy on, it dulled the colors. First time I’ve had that happen. 😢

@@breannachandler8004 oh no!! I know some people seal their inks before they epoxy but I’ve never done it and never noticed a substantial shift in the colors... I’m sorry!

@@dixiedarlins1202 yeah this is the first time it ever happened to me too. I was able to go back in again with the inks and touch it up. I’ve not applied another layer of epoxy yet due to life being crazy, but I’m gonna try it tomorrow and see snag happens. Then I’m gonna work on my second one but with more blues and greens for my dad. My brother said mine is too girly in colors with the pinks and purple. 🤣😂

Beautiful Work!!! Quick question though. On the tumbler you ended up using, Did you epoxy it 1st before applying your vinyl decal because it looks shiny and not like a regular matte primed tumbler? Thanks so much for sharing this beauty!!! Great job!!!

Thanks! Good catch! It just happened to already have a layer of epoxy on it and I needed one quick lol... but most of the time I do without layer of epoxy and get the same results ❤️

Hello, I'm so glad your video popped up as a "suggested " video. I am interested in alcohol inks but am a bit intimated; thank you for such a great tutorial. During the video you indicated that you created the sticker using an app. Can you please share the name of the app? Also, do you suggest a full set of inks for a beginner or should I just focus on a few colors at a time. Any help is appreciated. Thank you! I did also join your Facebook group as well.

Awe thank you so much and I’m so glad I found you! I use the Word Swag app - sorry I should have listed it in the description box for everyone... there’s a paid version and I just use the free version - it will still let you save certain fonts... and when I was starting I just bought a few colors and have built my collection over time... and all inks aren’t created equal so I still have to play around with each new color to get a few for the coverage it provides but they are a lot of fun 🤗 and I’m so glad you joined fb group.. Everyone is very positive and helpful there so always feel free to ask questions 🤗❤️

I ended up switching sizes and the cup I grabbed had coat of epoxy on it but I usually do them before epoxy... I can’t tell much of a difference in how the ink goes on

Most of them are from Woodes Goodies and I’ve just collected them individually over time... I have their link in the description box below ... I love their inks and micas!!
