on the outside of your ship you have those ramps where you walk up, on the corners are litle sqares you can place those lighting turret tingies there i think

You might find it useful to have a door on either side of the drill to save running the long way to defend. There's also an up/down lever you can make and place at spots into your ship so you don't have to get to the front in order to dive. Sometimes the stacking button doesn't quite work and you have to manually shift stuff between the individual storages to free slots, stacking is only done inside each container so the shared view will hide split stacks

you can put the tesla turrets on outside where the lights go
