I honestly think it was better as a buckshot shotgun. I used it on Alibi a lot because due to the insane spread you could open up rotations for yourself within a second, which came in very handy while roaming. Its combat capabilities were of course pretty shitty, but that did always encourage creative and smart thinking when approaching a fight. Hiding or baiting enemies into turning corners would give you a near guaranteed kill, because you basically can't miss from such a distance. Running down enemies with the ACS was also fun, just having it at max spread, slowly chipping away at panicking enemies. Good times..

it doesn't really matter that much cuz the dps is so bad and if you want to use that at long range(which is why you run acog on it) the drop off makes it so hard to get a kill if you don't hit the head and the fire rate is trash too so its hard to hit the head too

Speaking of all of the erroneous "one in the chamber" instances in the game, the PK that finka and fuze use actually pulls a round into a feeding tube before chambering it, meaning that while it is an open bolt gun, it would still have an extra round inside the gun when doing a tactical reload. So even when Ubi does fix that issue they get it wrong lmao.

at 2:46 I think that instead of comparing the capacity of the two weapons as the number of rounds, (since an lmg would almost always win in this case), i think it would be better to compare the time taken to empty the mag from full. That way it would make more sense to compare for a combat situation and it would even out the odds better.

The thing is, you'll never full auto an ACS for the pure reason that inbetween the 200ms between your shots you can easily get peeked and killed with the movement speed in this game. With 400 rpm it would border usability, 450-500 and it could be a good gun. Keeping the recoil the same while upling the ROF would increase the resulting recoil enough to balance the increase in power.

I play Maestro a lot and I think it is most important to consider ALDA+Bailiff and ACS+Keratos as loadouts and not just the primary weapons. Maestro cams can GREATLY profit from line of sights through soft walls. Bringing the ACS will allow you to use the Keratos when you have to take the Bailiff with the ALDA. And let's face it: while the Bailiff is just about okay for lines of sight if you only need to shoot holes into one soft wall layer, the ACS12 allows for much more utility in that regard and won't let you end up with the round already begun for half a minute while you're still off site remodeling walls.

I dislike the use of impacts for sightlines tbh. The holes they create are too high but on many walls not wide enough. They also enable the attackers to get through the map (and to the cams) more quickly without any utility when all you want to do is slow their push and kill utility. If that's not your goal I'd say bring a Valkyrie instead.

I will never forget the day before the house rework that we demolished the whole house one last time, and the ACS was how we were able to do it... with the help of Sledge of course.

Haven't checked the Ameli or the mg42, but some open bolt LMG can have a intermediary step for rounds to be located out of the chamber and out of the belt but into the feeding system. Open bolt lmg's can have and extra round as such without it specifically being chambered.

So happy im not the only one who notices the errors in the game details. Lion has 2 side arms (chest and hip) Maverick AR50 had the wrong magazine and the bolt wasn't properly seated. Gridlock's magazine fed SAW is a terrible option due to the fact it is more likely to jam in cylic fire

One thing I noticed about the ACS12, it's great when firing for long periods of time. The fire rate is slow enough it runs out of bullets a lot slower then the alda or mx. Basically making it better at flanking multiple enemies without needing to take out your pistol in the middle of a firefight. But again that is a rare situation/playstyle with maestro. Alibi might have it done more often, but even then she's gonna be quick peaking not holding the button.

Rogue, I don't think you ever pay much mind to this, but the ACS-12 is actually probably better in practice. Not because it's a better gun, the Alda beats it in every way. The high damage and louder shots actually psychologically impacts how the gun seems to perform. This happened similarly to an older fps game, where two guns with the exact same stats had a wildly different perspective by the community, one was seen as op. It was all because it was louder. I forget the actual name for the psychological effect, but I dub it the Orc Effect. Loud dakka big powah

Imo, give the ACS an Acog and boost the fire rate by 100. This still puts it below the Bosg in fire rate, but makes it a little more consistent in getting kills, and aim. I find, too often, that if I don't go unnoticed or get a hs within the first two rounds, I am dead. Still a fun gun to mess around with tho.

IMO, not only is she 3 speed operator but also she has prisma which makes her an effective roamer and also impact grenades which has no need to be mentioned. YES we miss our German guys' ACOG and Italian brother's ACOG, but that didn't make them picked less often. They are still strong, stilla good roamers except Maestro, and also good anchors. As mentioned on vid, ACS has good ability to make holes although it now shoots slug shell instead of bird shots. ACOG to 3-speed operator who has good gadget and impact grenade? THAT will become a worst nightmare to attackers.

To it sum up, just use the ALDA. The ACS is now practically just a slow firing ar with a bit of destruction. Even though I'm a DMR/ high damage weapon lover, the ACS just can't compete with other full auto weapons and even some single-fire weapons. It's the jack of all trades, medicore at all.

With the anti-teamkill mechanic in the game, what happen when you shoot an ally while marked by the anti-TK tag and hit this ally and another behind with a full penetration weapon ? Do you receive damage equal to the damage of your shot or equal of the total of damage dealt ? Keratos is great if you have the aim, and don't loathe iron sights. It can come in clutch because it has such high damage and decent damage even at a range. I honestly dont know why people prefer the balif over it, outside of using the balif for wall destruction.

I don't know why but the Aldas's recoil has been the only gun I've ever consistently over compensated for ever in any game so I took the vertical grip off. LMAO and no I've never had trouble controlling recoil even on newer weapons
