So much beauty, life & wonder in Alder Creek. Protecting, caring for & preserving this property, the majestic giants, and the wildlife & nature that are at home here is absolutely critical. We feel so grateful that the opportunity to protect it has come, and we are supportive of what needs to be done to ensure it is purchased & protected. This is a beautiful video that says so much, not just in the interviews with people, though too in the video of these magnificent Sequoias! Let's protect this place, and ensure that today's and future generations may have the opportunity to walk respectfully amongst these inspiring trees, while letting the landscape and nature thrive under considerate stewardship. Cheers & thanks!

I get all of this that this video has to say. What about the cabin owners who currently own property up there? I also own a cabin south of there that I don't lease from the Forest Service that is on "my land" and it is paid off. No timber company is threatening those trees in the Alder Creek Grove. Sequoia trees are not desired for lumber products. I have been thru to the Amos Alonzo Stag Tree several times and it is truly beautiful. Do you want the seasonal residents to give up their property?

Adding this land to national parks is not wise given this administration is opening up logging. Better in a responsible foundation.

I was thinking the same thing. Keep it private to protect it against the Trump Administration and others like it!

Oh hooray a place that has been successfully protected by the people that live in the area and a lack of constant tourism will soon be ruined by actively bringing in tourists 🤦♂️

Well when you love something put a sidewalk and fence around it for all to enjoy. I hear you though. Personally I walk off trail as much as I can. Like the critters if I hear you coming I will duck behind something and wait for you to pass LOL.

Why don’t we just let the government on everything
