Lauren you are very kind. Becky was our ‘surprise’ baby many years ago and we’ve tried to be good parents (not always that successful 😂) for her. What you put in, you get out……we are very proud of our daughter in so many ways. Not just because of KZbin but her kindness towards others, tenacity in her career and so much more.

Has your dad ever been Santa for children's parties? He has a lovely, gentle personality and I'm sure he would be well-suied to the role. I had an uncle who was a popular Santa for parties because he was also a great piano player, so he would play for all the traditional games then "nip off to the loo" or "go to the kitchen for a cuppa" then reappear in the red suit to give out the gifts. When his own grandchildren were young they might be at a party when he was on duty and never twigged that he was Santa 🎅 They would tell him afterward that it was such a shame he went to the toilet when he did because he had missed seeing Santa! Yes both Bill and I have played the role of Father Christmas and Mother Christmas. I have a grey wig i use and a lovely red cape coat. Bill has the full set up but sadly we are less mobile as we used to be and haven’t done it for a number of years.

I prefer a cheap mince pie to a luxury one because whilst I like a bit of sweetmince I don't love it, so a high-end deep-fill pie has too much for me. Good thinking on Bill's suggestion to try the pies hot as well as cold.
