Yeah, it's a good bit of kit and a lot quieter than what I thought it would be. It also shreds up bigger things than I thought it would. I'm very impressed for the money.

Yes, there is a reverse button on the machine and if things really get jammed up then you can take the side off and clear it that way. Thanks for watching, Jimmy 👍

I really wish there was a cordless version of this. My allotment doesn't have mains electric and I can't use petrol/diesel machinery because I'm autistic and can't process all the noise and vibration

Hey, that's really tough. I can understand exactly how you feel, about the sensory overload from the machinery. You could always pile it all up and ask a local contractor or gardener to move it but I understand that would cost money. I hope you find a solution to your problem and enjoy being on your allotment. Make a trolley setup with some batteries and a solar panel on top. Then buy this one and hook it up on there. You can look for campervan setups to get it done easily.

Ok review but u seemed a bit of a fanboy - not that critical. Plus the whole point of a shredder is how good the shredded material is but u didn’t provide a closeup of the shredded material. Would have been nice to see a closeup shot of unrunning hands through material - u were a bit far away. Plus the reviews of shredder on the aldi website say that it didn’t shred green material that well and didn’t shred material into smaller pieces suitable for compost. Good to know the diameter size of the pieces it kind shred though

It's a garden machine and I really didn't expect much from it at all. I work with commercial machines every day and there isn't a single one that would shred things down to compostable size. For a cheap garden machine I thought it was really impressive and you will easily quadruple the amount of green waste you can put in a wheelie bin. My only criticism is it has to be plugged in and getting the tub in and out is a bit fiddly but other than that it is mega value for money. ( better camera equipment and editing techniques now so close ups will improve) Thanks for watching, Jimmy

No way, it's the same as the Bosch one. Any bother with it just take it straight back to Aldi and get a refund.
