We’re a family of 3 & do a once a week Tesco click & collect. I have a strict budget of £80 which includes household too. I definitely think shopping online is the way forward! If my basket goes over £80 I just make swaps or sacrifices until it’s under - we don’t have much free for salmon, prawns or Prosecco though!🙈😂 xx

To be fair the Prosecco was a bargain but yeah, it’s expensive buying fish as I am pescatarian so I don’t eat meat, we eat a lot of basa as it’s cheaper x

We swapped from Aldi to Asda about a year ago, and our monthly budget went up significantly! We have just switched back to Aldi, and it's working really well! I think Aldi has the better prices and a great quality of food compared to Asda

I do find Aldi generally ticks the boxes for our big shop although obviously Asda has items you can’t get there

I’ve started to keep a list on my phone (sounds obvious) for each shop eg Tesco, Aldi, M&S (for treats 😅) and then when I’m near them I know what we needed from each. Sounds so obvious, but it means say the one time I do nip to M&S because I’ve got a voucher on Sparks, I get the things we’ve run out of from there and don’t go back multiple times.

I predominantly mean the M&S roast potato seasoning which I could eat by the kilo 😂

Family of 4 2x adults 4 year old and 1 year old - I’ve been doing a weekly online shop at Tesco and my shop is between £60-£75 a week. I used to shop at Aldi but it was coming to £100 a week and on Mat pay I just couldn’t afford it. X

If/when you rejoin Costco would love to see what you think is good value. Love Costco but can’t go and spend less than about £200 🤦🏼‍♀️
