I buy the full size bottle of Aldi's 'Je Suis Belle' perfume (one of the ones included in this calendar) every year, its an exact dupe of Lancome's La Vie Est Belle and wears exactly the same as my real version! The mini setting spray is a dupe of the Urban Decay All Nighter too x

IMAGINE! If you could take a little online quiz about your skin tone and type and then have them send out an advent calendar that includes foundation powder and concealer too! Or even have an option for light, medium or dark🤔 with lots of diff shades included so you could mix your perfect shade 😮 think I could be onto something here🤣

I’ve bought this advent calendar. Aldi is well known for its skincare dupes and I love them. I prefer them over the expensive stuff. Great value for money but definitely not for people who are expecting it to be solely based on make up x

I feel like if you have no allergies or skin conditions and you don't mind skincare then this calendar is one of the best 😍 I have allergies so i wouldn't risk it but I would definitely use every single product in this calender if I could!

I think this is an excellent option for people who enjoy beauty products but don’t use makeup. I have so much makeup, I don’t need more but I love beauty world - perfumes, nail polish, skin care... I think it’s a really good calendar but for a specific group of people :3

Although the products are cheaper, I really like both Aldi and Lidl skincare and makeup products. Got the bronzer and the highlighter from Aldi when they were new in the store and was so impressed by how they came out (a lot of loose product though but maybe changed now). Been using the primer from Aldi for years as well and love it

An eyeshadow palette 6. A candle 7. A face mask 8. A face cream 9. Fake eyelashes 10. A setting spray 11. A lip colour in a nude 12. Lip colour in a red/pink 13. Loose glitter 14. 2/3 brushes (eyeshadow ones) 15. A universally flattering blush 16. Nail varnish 17. Beauty sponge 18. A lip gloss 19. Head band or clips 20. Eyebrow pencil 21. Mini perfume 22. Pressed or loose powder In translucent 23. Primer 24. Black eyeliner 25. Makeup remover (miscella water or a balm) I mean imagine that for a calendar 😍 we don’t want tweezers or nail files 🤦‍♀️

Some of those products wouldn't make sense with how varied skintones are. I need extremely light contour and highlighters (fair is usually too dark). Others need really deep. I probably would never buy a beauty calendar since I'm anaphylactic to coconut, the trendy thing to put in products. So my thoughts don't have any weight. I'll defer to you, but those are my concerns about contour and highlighters. Not that I wouldn't want them in. Maybe a few calendars targeting different skintones (fair/medium, medium/dark, deep/very dark). In my thoughts they put examples of skintones who could use the box. Maybe brands should collab for the ultimate box?

I really like this!!! Weird though cause the few different Aldi's I go to in upstate NY, USA don't have anything like this. No makeup, skincare, beauty items. Certainly not their own brand and anything regular ( except food storage bags, garbage bags, a few cleaning supplies)!They do get a few other non grocery items but it's always different products and usually more like things for around the house.

I think both pronunciations of Aldi are correct 😂 I think it just depends on where you are from. I notice people who are in the UK and Australia pronounce it AL-dee. Over here in the U.S. we pronounce it ALL-dee 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

Think this one is for the older ladies. Because of the skin care.😊 Also if you think about covid, makeup has kind of been on the less worn side. Although eye shadow, liner and brows...would be great. Is the liz Earl cleanse and polish as strong smelling as the lacura one? My sensitive skin could not handle the super strong eucalyptus type smell and it stung my face so much, I really wanted to try the liz Earl one

The cleansing balm may work better if you use some water to lather it up with. That's typically how you use cleansing balms/oils.

Kinda random thought, but the build quality seems pretty good. As you can re-use it. Each year I buy an empty calender and fill it with something and give away. Last year 24 marsipan bites, this year I took all the kinder-toys and made a calender, but the quality of theese empty calenders are often....very poor. Like the one I made this year...it has to lie down. I have one I make for myself that is better quality, means its made from cardboard, so I make myself one each year. What do you do when you have emptied the calenders?
