I have info about kolaches. The word is pronounced ko-la-chee, and it is of Czech origin. Texans are very familiar with kolaches as they are sold in many bakeries in Texas. Some Czech settlers arrived in Texas in the 19th century and kolaches have become part of Texas culture. Kolaches can be either sweet or savory.

We have a bunch of them in Ohio we have Walnut kolache apricot and poppy seed and I think I seen kolache with like cheese and meat in it too they're very good and seemingly hard to make

I love your videos and tend to go to the stores you visit to see if I can find what you share. I even send your videos to my mom and daughter to have them check their stores in their location if I can’t find what I’m looking for. I can say I did go to Aldi and purchase that white peach vinaigrette and I fell in love with it. I went to the store to get more and there was none to be found. My youngest daughter had to console me because I was upset. But I thank you for sharing

My mom's side if the family is Polish, and my Grandma always made kolache, but we always pronounced them "kolotch-key" and they were cookies with a sweet cheese or fruit filling 😊 she made the best homemade pierogi and sausage & sauerkraut too...man I miss her ❤

Those kolaches are like the American version of a Czech food, of which I cannot remember the name! I’m Czech and Slovak; kolaches for us are a cookie/tart/pastry dessert (it’s a little hard to necessarily describe the texture unless you’ve had it before) with different types of fillings (almost looking like an iced cookie). I grew up on poppy seed, prune, and apricot fillings. It’s one of the things my grandfather taught us to make after immigrating over.

Kolaches are normally seen as a fruit jelly filled cookie/ Ghee is pronounced with the “g” like the “g” in (get). Love your videos.

I don't remember which Aldi haul you showed us but I went to look at the biker shorts and they had some that were really short and I love them I got three or four packs I think. The only ones I usually find is right above the knee and I like the mid Dyer shorter and can never find those. They're great for working out but also just to be in the house.
