Evening Patara, just wanted to tell you how great I think this “family” is! 99% of the people here look at this as a place to learn, grow, attain skills, and share and show love to one another💜. There’s prayers and encouragement for one another and sharing of info. I love that people say things like … “Hey…. Check your local “wherever” cause I found xxx at mine.” Hard to find this joy in the world anymore and likeminded people to share with including some friends and family! May God bless your family… you mean so much to many and for some, may be the only light they see!

I’m going to start doing these small trips but to DG, since that’s what is close to me. Thank you for setting me free from the mindset that if I don’t get everything organic I shouldn’t prep. With these prices we just can’t meet our savings and debt-elimination goals if we decide to be snobs about everything organic. You really have helped my mindset so much.

Excellent video to wake up to and listen while drinking my first coffee of the day. Your prices are rapidly increasing. Scary!! Our prices are fairly stable in Australia but they are quietly beginning to creep up. Tinned meat is getting quite expensive. Spam is over $5 a little tin. I have been prepped and gardening for 3 years now due to Patara and Rose Red the Gadget Lady. Thanks for the commenters too, because I learn a lot from you all adding your ideas. Thanks very much Patara and commenters.

I am having my family top off their cars every day when they come home from work. We are rural and drive past a gas station at mile 11 going toward town. I noted yesterday when I had to run some errands that the gas station is placing bags over some of the pumps. I would say about 25% of the nozzles are now out of service. This is very unusual. I did not take the time to run into the store and ask what was up - sorry.

Also, I have restaurant style plastic “boats” that are dishwasher safe and only require a wax paper sheet, which I also buy in bulk. It’s not “sitting around the table dining,” but we rarely do that anyway. And wax paper sheets are way cheaper than paper plates.
