Great vid mate, most of the time i'll sacrifice quality for savings on things that are relatively banine. Such as chips and coffee and what not.

Lemonade is so easy to make from scratch--a waste of money to buy it at all commercially.

Aldi is the best. Aldi and lidl are like the only places I shop for food.

My wife thinks nothing can quite match Starbucks. Even very nice European coffee roasted and ground in a shop has a taste that isn’t quite as familiar for her

Awesome vid! Dope concept, very unique and entertaining! I've shopped Aldi all my life and they've come a long way with the quality of their products. Didn't get the vegan joke but liked anyway lol

Oh the shame of knowing what a freegan is! 😂 Not that I don’t always hit the LIKE button for your videos, but now I’m certainly obliged to. 😁 Very entertaining video though! You & your brother have great chemistry. Did I hear you two might be doing a vegan version of this-or did I make that up in my mind? 😂

We might try this again with vegan stuff. And I'm going to be doing a vegan challenge at some point Thanks for the support! :P

Awesome! I liked this video. Great idea to compare. Aldis has its own name brand and has a lot of great stuff! Milk and eggs are about half the price of any other store . I usually spend half of what I would normally spend anywhere else. Things I like there... milk, eggs, yogurt, trail mix, bread, snacks for kids lunches. I do not think aldis Cheerios are better but their oat meal and raisin brand and rice crispies are pretty much the same. I love their wide aisles and I love that they are very rarely crowded!!

Absolutely you could easily chop your grocery bill by 30% to 1/2 just by getting the exact same stuff there compared to most other places and it's pretty much the same thing!

In my opinion, you can almost always find a cheaper product (just as tasty or even better) but it doesn't always have to be Aldi product :P I live in Germany so we have here Aldi, Netto, Lidl (these are the cheapest ones) and for example: Netto Cola costs a quarter of the price of Coca Cola and tastes MUCH better! (yes I can taste the difference and I drink a lot of Cola). Lidl Cookie Dought Ice costs a half of the price of Ben&Jerry's Cookie Dought Ice and tastes very good (a little bit different, but just as good). And I personally like the Aldi paper towels the most :P (but maybe thy are diffrent and better in Germany... or maybe not but I wouldn't even think of buying more expensive ones - honestly it's a piece of paper that you are about to throw away in a minute, it's not worth overpaying). But even if some products are not as good... I usually choose the best of the cheapest :) I don't even look at the name brand.

I know that chocolate taste--it's cheap and waxy. I find this to be the case with a lot of Aldi products. They are less expensive but I also find their products not to be as good. On a lot of things I don't care about the difference and will definitely go for the Aldi product if it is cheaper.

Gabe, I have a question about your brother's diet. Does his body allow him to eat peas, as they are high in protein ? Is this disease genetic ?
