Hi, new viewer here, I got some rainbow yarn last week in three different colours intending to crochet scarves for my 3 young Grandchildren, however, after starting with the blue-ish colourway I found it to be so rough that there is no way they could have them near their skin. Bought 3 of each aswell, I'm so so disappointed but had to let you know. Don't know whether anyone else has found this? Now going to make their scarves out of the baby chenille and the rainbow 🌈 is now going to be turned into either lap blankets for me and Hubby, or blankets for my Daughters 2 dogs! Did buy enough chenille for stuffies + extra balls just in case. Glad I did now!

The chenille yarn is the best ive ever used, far superior to the expensive brands out there and you're right , it doesn’t shred xx Good luck with the crochet business. Thats what i did 10 years ago. I only knit and crochet for myself now, I found the market was flooded. Look forward to see what you make. Oh and i have a machine like yours too, if makes fab hats 👍. Im waiting for my granddaughter to be a bit older (shes 4) then I xan teach her all these skills I have xx

The only problem is Aldi doesn’t stock enough and they go as fast as their put on the shelfs. I have managed to get several but constantly play yarn chicken 😅 as all local stores doesn’t have any more.

It’s such nice quality I agree. When I say crochet business I’ll basically make what I fancy and just sell it lol. Having said that I ended up doing customs before so who knows. It’s going to be more of a hobby and if I get plenty of stock will do the odd craft fair etc. my grandson loves to diamond paint, he is really good at it - so precise. He is 4 too although will be 5 in a few days. Have fun with your granddaughter hunny. I learnt to crochet and knit when I was 5 or6 I think. I still remember the little Whicker basket with small balls of yarn and plastic needles ♥️

Omg i love the colours the grey, cream, clay, the autumn colours. I am notcan art or craft person not got a clue of the textures etc. but perhaps do scarves with two colours especially autom colours as people or i do is wear browns and tans and it being cold a scarf that had the two colours would match, thats just my thing. All the colours are gorgeous and liked the way you bundled them up in groups. You are one talented lady, very creative etc. i enjoy all your hauls.perhaps you could do scarvs, sockes, little hand bags with lining, mobile phone cases, sweatters, you will come up with stuff. Thanks for sharing your very talented self you honestly bring joy to people

I got some of the macrame wool because for the longest time I've been wanting to make pot holders for some of my houseplants that are in desperate need to trail but are on a surface with no room, the poor things! - I did notice with that wool though that it was £1.99 a ball, but the coloured ones were only 150g whereas the cream ones are 200g, which is a bit cheeky I thought. You're right about the green baby yarn being the nicest, and so I got myself a couple of those which (because I'm naughty and haven't used them yet) I found go really well with last years blue version which has a more lilac-colour in place of the deeper blue... Still not sure what I'm going to make with them though, lol! There was a mottled cake one in dusky pinks and purple, but I didn't get it and now wish I had so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they are still there on Friday when I next get into town. xx
