After a frankly appalling previous performance, Sister Beard is back looking for redemption. Pizza being her favourite food, I thought this one would be a cinch...It didn't quite turn out to be that simple...
Today we're at Aldo's Italian in Apperly Bridge taking on their 'Giant Calzone Challenge'. One huge calzone, filled with chicken, mozzarella, mushrooms, rocket and some other stuff. Now this one is really just a laugh; there's no free t-shirt or anything cool like that if you win, although if you can finish in one sitting you do get a spot on the wall of fame.
That being said, it's only been defeated twice, so a perfect opportunity for Jen to redeem herself!

Q: How come you don’t get fat?
A: I eat like this for 1 hour of a 168 hour long week. In simple terms, I eat at caloric maintenance over the course of time, meaning I don’t gain weight. If you're interested in learning more, see the 'It Was Just A Normal Day...' video.
Q: Don’t you worry about your health?
A: Not in particular. I’m active. I eat nutrient dense foods five days a week. And, I get quarterly bloods done, amongst other health checks.

My oldest brother and I make an effort to spend time together with one another. Our usual thing to do is to have lunch and watch a movie together. I wish everyone has at least one really good sibling or sibling-like relationship, it makes such a difference to the quality of my life. As someone who has many medical challenges and who needs the social interaction, my brother pushes me to do just a little more than what I think I can do on the good days, he checks on me and if I'm having a really rough patch he is here and happy to help. Hug your loved ones close and tell them you love them, tell them you appreciate them being in your life. Don't let anger, frustration, hurt, etc carry over til 2moro, sort it before the sun sets. I think thats an old timey italian restaurant thing, my Grandma loved to go to our local Italian when she visited because he was always very charming and flirty with her (she was in her late 80s). He also just gifted her a big 5 liter bottle of iced wine on her last visit.
