I have watched a lot of videos on you tube of people doing this song, and none of them really seem "to get it". You exemplify a perfect combo of "feeling" AND talent, when most can only do one or the other. Bravo!

A captivating performance! And just how it's intended to be, with Aldonza brutalized and furious. This actress seems to be the beginning of a fine dramatic soprano, too! The role calls for just such a soprano: powerful, rich, heavy with emotion, suited for intense moments of high drama... It's not a common voice.

Vocally, your performance is absolutely SAVAGE... just the way it's supposed to be. Very few singers can let go and use that open shouted timbre on just about every note, and descend so recklessly into the lower chest. Brava!!!! But be careful.
