Especially considering that just before the last puzzle, Jim Perry said “If that clock hits double 0, it is all over.” This is one of the few times that I recall the contestant even being given the opportunity to answer the puzzle when the clock hits double 0. It must have been a “tie” and they decided the tie goes to the contestant.
