This was filmed on a phone by a fan at the Mercury Lounge in Dec. 2019. It is when Jason Flom, CEO of Lava Records first saw them live, and knew right away he had to sign them. Ale was still a few days away from turning 15!! She has a beautiful voice, like a cross between Dany and Pau, but she is very shy and does not like the spotlight, although she says she loves performing live with her sisters! When asked if she will ever sing lead on a song on one of their albums, she adamantly says "NO!" LOL. So, when you get to see her sing a song live (Happens ONLY when Dany is feeling sick) it is like spotting a Unicorn in the wild! hahaha

Red Hands is from TW’s 2nd album Queen of the Murder Scene which is a concept album. RHNF is the song directly after the Queen kills her “crush” in a fit of rage in the song appropriately titled Stalker after he rejects her. RHNF explores the remorse for the death by lamenting she can’t psychologically remove the blood from her hands thus Red Hands Never Fade. These Mercury Lounge performances were important for TW because this is where the A&R person for Lava, Devin, and then the President, Jason Flom, got to see what they can do onstage and was paramount to Lava deciding to approach TW. Ale occasionally sings lead on 2 songs, RHNF and Hunter and has sung lead a couple of times on an older song, River’s Soul, as well. I think I remember hearing that Ale sang on this night to show the versatility of the band.

their life changed at this gig because lava record boss was summoned by one of his supervisors that he had to come witness what she witnessed the night before and we are living that decision right now with the 2 new albums, one of which is about to be released, I really think Ale needs her own song taylored to her voice in the near future, she sounds so good on the few little solo parts we have heard lately on the new songs, She really does like the limelight on stage, maybe not lead singing, i mean with Danny and Pau its hard to get a word in even in interviews, thinks she just accepts her role but she does grab the attention when she does solo sing a verse or two, thanks for sharing, loved it !

When it comes to The Warning, it is always a special treat when Ale sings lead, Pau comes out from behind the drums 🥁 to sing lead or when Dany does a solo acoustic of "When I Am Alone".

Ale is the same age here that Dany was when she started singing. (14/15 years old). Dany has improved to world class front woman status now and I see no reason that Ale couldn't do the same. But, I suspect Ale doesn't think she can match her sisters at this and opts out. And it could be that's the correct decision. Still nice to see, though.

Every fan loves to hear Ale sing, but it is a unicorn moment that when it does happen, then it is oh so much better 💙. Ale does do backup, and sometimes, it is a few lines. she is the lower vocal to lisen out for.

This is one of the better versions sound wise. It was remastered to try and make Ale's voice more audiable from a crappy live recording. Unfortunately Ale only rarely sings lead, and mostly when Dani's sick or needs some help with the heavy burden of lead vocals. That in turn means only live recordings and mostly smaller venues and not the best equipment. Also her mic seems to be adjusted for backup vocals and my guess is that they often fail to crank up her volume to allow lead vocals to come thru loud and clear. But we all cherish those rare occasion anyway. And one day... one day we will get a studio or high quality main concert recording with Ale on lead. Once they asked Ale in an interview if there'll ever be a The Warning song where she sings lead and she said "maybe but probably not."

Great reaction kiddo. Yeah, so... Ale has perfect pitch and she can actually sing better than her sisters (TWA, don't come after me. LOL!!) but she's more reserved and doesn't like the spotlight on her. A lot people say she's shy but she really isn't, she just doesn't care for attention much. Someone mentioned in the comments that Ale sings at their house (the cave) and I'll try and get a link to you. Don't get me wrong, they all have great vocal ability but I know deep down inside that Ale is holding back because she prefers to just sing backup vocals. Unfortunately there are no professional audios of Ale singing this song. Just call phone videos. Dany was saving her voice as it was getting tired so Ale stepped in. There are three or four songs she sings if necessary but she does not like to do it. There is a home video of her doing a different song. A producer was visiting and wanted to hear the band. Dany was bored centered again as they just came back from a long tour. So with no prior warning, Ale was asked to sing the lead. It was a song she wrote most of the lyrics to. She did great.

Unfortunately fan shot videos are normally terrible quality. Ale' sings lead on a few songs when Dany is sick or needs a break. This was at the Mercury Lounge in 2019 and maybe you remember that was where Jason Flom (Lava/Republic Records) saw them and started the process to sign them. Best vocals ever refers to the fact that there are no really good audio recordings of her singing lead during a concert. She has perfect pitch, is a human metronome, and is the better keyboard player of the sister, but is shy to sing lead. Another thing to check out is Copper Bullets from the Lunario CDMX concert from 2018.
