I agree. It stresses me out when my house is cluttered and a mess and tends to make me grumpy. I have a 2025 goal to declutter my house which I have started. I started with something small like my closet, bedroom, laundry room, and then my daughters closet. I did however start my spare room and it overwhelmed me and took a break but I plan to finish it soon though. I'm going to work on my kitchen and living room today

My tree came down Christmas Day at 11am😂 Everything else came down the very next day! I did a thorough clean & now have lots of white snowflakes out and white decor! It’s my fav decor I put out!❄️🤍

Hi Aleah, So sorry you were so sick. I had pneumonia once and it was awful. I was hospitalized. I wondered where you were. I almost choked when I saw that he amount of stuff you took out of your office & into the kitchen. Maybe next year you can suggest to family members not to buy so much stuff for the kiddos. My husband wanted to wait until Epiphany (Jan6) to take down the trees. I did remove a few decorations the week after Christmas but otherwise I waited. I am in my 70’s so my only goal is to stay healthy and out of the hospital. Right now I’m working on my typical “once-a-year” chores which usually takes me all Jan & part of Feb. I have some touch up painting to complete in the bathrooms. I’ve already done that in the kitchen and breakfast nook. Happy New Year!🎉🎈🎉

I was getting sick during your last video as well and had a lot of your symptoms. It ended being bronchitis. However two of my friends actually ended up hospitalized at the same time, one with pneumonia and the other with influenza A. And these are young normally healthy people. This year has been brutal. Glad you’re feeling better ❤❤

I take my Christmas decorations down New York Eve everything is package before the New Year. I wash all clothes, the only clothes are the clothes we're wearing. I change bed sheets We cooked our New Year's meal and clean up the kitchen. Done before 12. I don't like bringing last Christmas into the new year. That's my routine every year.

Can you ask family members not to buy so many presents? Or maybe ask for gift experiences or gift cards instead? That amount if stuff is overwhelming for anyone to have to deal with. The best gifts are a positive experience and not just an accumulation of clutter. I've started to ask for no gifts (admittedly empty nester so totally different life stage).
