im just starting , but does it matter about different number and letters on chip so i have a 24c02 but also has b97ap above and vn8 below the 24c02 , so does b97ap and vn8 mean anything it also has a F which i think means farnell , thankyou

You can use universal programmer like superpro or minipro and select Eeprom manufacturar easy read/write buffer. You must clean the Eeprom pin after you can try. Otherwise bad Eeprom. Thanks

Good tutorial about i2C Eeprom. I am facing one of problem. Air conditioner compressor drive inverter. Bad Inverter is not ready like red LED blinking and another good one when is ready green LED on ok. The inverter Two wire i2C communication. Data come from another controller. In the inverter data through using AT24C02 transceiver interface . Here are hexadecimal data go to MCU TMS320F28027 can't enable the ready mode. Also MCU generate the PWM for driving power IGBT FP75R12KT4-B15. I am testing all are components from PCB open out without MCU and i2C eeprom. I can't find out the problem. I am sure the Problem between i2C Eeprom or MCU . It maybe data lost. I am using Universal programmer but can't read out the buffer . Buffer showing empty like FF FF FF FF (blank). I have same version of new device but I don't try . Because of it will be risk. Brother how Is it possible clone the MCU TMS320F28027. Please give me the any idea. I can do read out only for AT24C02 with the ICSP programmer but MCU TMS320F28027 I can not it possible. Any one please help me about the problem. Thanks.
