Honestly, I don't think it's necessarily a simplistic artist vs artist comparison like you're implying. For one thing, Benjamin writes the music he preforms. Most of the artists you're talking about, don't. That's why most of the more popular music sounds alike. It's written by... like 3 different people. And that's the music for about... 40+ popular artists.
