My BF and I both have Autism and parental-caused trauma from our childhoods. I also have Schizoaffective Schizophrenia and he has ADHD. We help each other everyday. We're both each other's first real dates and have been dating since Highschool. Last month was our 4 years and I'm 20 he's 18-will be 19 in April (We're almost exactly 1 1/2 years apart with the exception of 11 days). We have our problems, our meltdowns, and our fights, but we were made for each other and have overcome so much, his hyperactive episodes, his anger at his family, my mental hospital stays, my suicide attempts...after all that as TEENAGERS there's nothing we can't fight together now. God made it possible, God, courage, love, and the help of our families who AREN'T abusive (His mom, my grandparents) as support systems are absolutely necessary now that we're adults. I hope you guys are blessed with someone who really loves you through the darkness as well.
