My favorite bar is Shadracks cause it’s a piece of shit
And for that very reason, I feel like I fit in
No they don’t have a T.V. cause they can’t pay the bills

Now Shadracks is the kinda place with holes punched through the walls
And signs for dollar beers on broken bathroom stalls
The foosball table’s tilted so one side always wins
But I play it again hoping it will be different in the end

We both feel past our prime

The Christmas lights about the bar haven’t moved in thirty years
And neither have the hairstyles of the people drinking beers
Yeah maybe its a place thats already torn apart
That reminds us of our hearts and we both beat on and on and on
The owners just ignore the things they need to fix
They’d rather take a load off, they’d rather shoot the shit
