This is Alexander as I have never heard him, and an absolutely wonderful performance! As I was a devoted fan of Glenn Gould, I am really happy to see Alexander using a chair... what memories! You have been my first and only hero since Glenn, Alexander, and I hope to travel from California to my hometown of Buffalo to see you with the Buffalo Philharmonic in March! It will be my first trip home in nearly 20 years.

Alexander's concentration is such that a roving cameraman, whom we saw a moment ago, likely doesn’t register. It never occurred to me that the wonderful closeups we get to see aren’t shot from a distance with telephoto lenses. Dude, Sasha's busy - get outta his face!
