cheeki breaki, frankly, I'm not "adept" of Eurovision. But this year was an exception because, as I said in other comments, it happened by chance, to have heard the chorus of "FOREVER"... I soon fell in love with the song and the great voice of the interpreter 😍...!!! So, I didn’t stop listening to the song 🌷!!! I didn’t know Nikita, but I ended up being his fan 💙!!! And not being qualified for the Final, to me the Eurovision doesn’t make sense anymore 😢... Have you ever wondered why they put the best songs in the first semi-final? They compared this group of songs/countries to the "death pot", in the language of football...!!! Did you watch the second semi-final? I watched and the quality of the songs was *much lower* , nothing had to do with the first semi-final 😣!!! I can tell you that the songs that were qualified, were far worse than those left behind in the first semi-final, Imo... Did you think it was a coincidence that this happened...??? No, it wasn’t...😪... Unfortunately, there are many other interests behind it all. Eurovision is no longer a "song contest", with interactions of different cultures... This is all a “game of interests”, involving "money", "politics"... If Alekseev had stayed in the group of the second semi-final he would, certainly, had been qualified !!! As you know, my country is the "host", then the Portuguese song is automatically in the Final. But I don’t like the song of my country 🤨... I wanted Alekseev to be the winner 🏆...!!! So, since no other song interests me, I'm not going to vote for anyone else! To me, the Eurovision ended with Alekseev's non-qualification. Cheers ✨!
