Dear ImmortalHD, better known as Aleks. I know you probably won't see this comment or if you do, I don't even know if you'd read it, but I wanted to say thank you anyways. Like seriously, thank you so fucking much. Honestly, for Aleks anyway, it provides an advantage because he said his right eye is his dominant eye. You probably focus on the gun because your left eye is your dominant eye.

Yes.Basically, If you are right eye dominant, you tend to focus or pay more attention to the right-hand side so its best to have your gun on the left

This is typically the case but doesn't apply to everyone. I am into many far ranged weapons and find that a right handed person is typically left eye dominant, but there are many exceptions.

well, the story behind this is that western civilization (america, europe) is looking at the pictures from left to right, and eastern civilization (japan, china) is looking at the pictures from right to left. this is due to cultural traditions and when you change view model like that, you're messing with your own head and he heads of the viewers. i believe you could google more on the topic, look into differences between eastern and western art.

Kinda funny--I don't get why people have such a strong reaction to which side the weapon is on. To be honest, I do notice a difference in what I pay attention to, but I can't speak for Aleks (of course.) When the weapons are on the left, I focus more on the scene. The weapon takes up less visual space and I mentally group it with the chat and health section. Basically, I see more of what is going on, versus seeing the weapon and keeping track of the firing when it is on the right. Couldn't care which side he chooses tho.

I tried the left hand thing wayyy back in 1.5 and 1.6. It's a short time placebo effect and in reality barely anyone sticks with this unless they have some wierd "my brain or eyes work differently and it's documented" condition. Also, that crosshair is defenitely too small for learning spray control. I would suggest trying out a fairly large standard static one and some practice with sv_showimpacts. Spraying is a unique feature of CS and is a very powerful tool when mastered. You can learn on point accuracy with most crosshairs.

Playing with the gun in either the right or left hand is based off which eye is your dominate eye. If it bothers you on the left side it means you are left eye dominate. To figure out your dominate eye. Extend your arms out and make a circle with your hands. Center something in that circle with both eyes open. Now close one. If the object is still in focus that us your dominate eye. You notice more on that side of your screen.

Hey Immortal or any viewer. How exactly did you practice CS:GO? I'm Silver 4 right now and what i've basically been doing is spending an hour or two a day on a aim training coarse/ Deathmatch just getting my aim down. But I still feel like my overall movement throughout the map is really awkward.I play Dust 2, cache, and inferno and can't really get used to tactics and fast rotations. When do you know you need to rotate? And where should you position yourself when rotating?

theres a console command where you can zoom out the in game radar so you can see the whole map. It's pretty helpful cus i see you hitting tab to see the full map radar. (at least thats what I think you were doing)

Running with a knife makes you move the fastest compared to running with a gun in your hand.

No. That'll probably just make it worse. This time instead of complaining about a little gun's side compared to the whole screen, they'll complain about why the whole map which pretty much fills almost the entire screen is opposite, why B site is on the left and A is on the right on dust 2. Either way, people will ALWAYS have something to complain about.

Stay standing still when u shoot. Try and shoot in 2-3 bursts aiming at the head. Make sure to always buy armour in competitive mode. However I suggest playing casual and deathwatch for a while until you are comfortable with your gun skill

Play with friends, shoot in bursts, aim at the head, call out any deaths, friendly and enemy when playing competitive. One last thing, don't expect to have fun :D
