Everyone has their opinion. I like both Alem and SCTT. However, I prefer SCTT's style over Alem's. Don't get me wrong, Alem is better than SCTT. I just prefer his style over Alem's. No hate :)

Alem has not yet re;eased a tutorial on it. But the beat is real easy, you just need that flow (which is hard by the way.)

Fantastic showcase! Alem is so sick in this it's crazy! I havn't seen Dharni's yet but it must be damn good. I like the showcase battles for a change. It let's us see more of their "visions". Give an artist more scope. I think the maybe could be taken down to 4.5 to 5 min because that's about when most artists started to run out off air lol. I like having both battles and showcases, they each have their place. Pepouni, thanks for the upload, top notch A/V quality as always.

i still haven't seen who else was in the grand final against Alem so I can't say for sure yet. but since the showcase really emphasizes using all your time really effectively and challenges the beatboxer to keep coming even after 5 minutes is one of the main points, so if he did get suffocated it might very well be one of the reasons he lost. and even if he did amazing he had to deliver on that front so it's reasonable reasoning.

I like the new concept of Grand Beatbox Battle 2013. In real battles, beatboxer must choose certain beats in certain battles. Its not favorable for showcase beatboxers like Dharni, Two H, Keumart, Robeat, Yasson which can shine in this showcase battles. Good job Swissbeatbox. I'd like to see more showcase battle next year
