I actually like the fact that John's solo work isn't that popular. It makes it a tad more special for me as a person and helps me to relax while listening to him. His music should not be corrupted by publicity, it's not worth it

Frusciante's a genius. When he's playing with the Peppers, he has this hyptnotizing and overwhelming sound, and when playing alone, the sound is rather coming close to you to enthrall you almost personally...It's amazing Frusciante is able to reach you in both of those ways.

i really think no one can be the best guitar player, cause they all have there own style so they're just kinda the best in their own way. cause no one can play a song exactly how the original player played and wrote it, cause we're all different people so we feel different ways when we play, and everyone has they're own unique style that really cant be perfectly replicated.
