The first two Leonardo M-346 Master school airplanes delivered to Poland have started the procedure for checking compliance with the specifications of the contract. According to unofficial information, machines do not meet all the requirements. Manufacturers are liable for financial penalties for failure to meet the deadlines that will be charged until the contract is fully executed.

BlackH no complaints from Israel, weirdly enough. I assume Israel doesn't have lower standards than Poland.

The only things it does better than a Hawk is climb and burn fuel.
@anything1sg8 жыл бұрын
+J Adams it is much more advanced than that. It can simulate the flight performances of other aircraft and have data fed through in real time for training... flight performance is very close to a F-16 at up to Mach 1. You can't say the same for the Hawk...nowhere near.

What ?????

This airplane was designed by a Russian firm - Yakovlev. It is based on the Yak-130 and was produced by license in Italy. A NATO country basically ripped-off a Russian plane, and said goodbye to the original contract. I would bet all the money in the world (if one could) that the US was primarily responsible for trashing the original production/development contract. If you can't beat 'em, you may as well rip them off! Standard capitalist business operating procedure at work.

+spinworthy The cases are three: you are a) misinformed, in wich case a simple trip to wikipedia or any specialized military site (yes, even russian ones) will explain to you that Yakovlev and Alenia jointly developed a common airplane until when in 2000 differences in requirement caused the partnership to break and the two firms proceded separatedly on the base that they had developed together until then; b) So brainwashed up with anti-occidental propaganda that you develop your own theories based on the opinion some people crafted in your poor impressionable mind but without any fact to back them up; c) you are just trolling in wich case we'll just ignore you until you go somewhere else to satisfy your need to be noticed to fill that sad emptiness that is your life.

I guess wikipedia is a godsend for people that fancy themselves 'occidentalists', whatever that is supposed to be. Do some research you clown.

+spinworthy Russian decided to pull them off from the project. What make this plane amazing is the electronic and the software which are not russian

no it was Originally co-developed with Yakovlev as the Yak/AEM-130, the partnership was dissolved in 2000 and Alenia Aermacchi proceeded to separately develop the M-346 Master, while Yakolev continued work on the Yakovlev Yak-130

Yakolev, before this co-developed project, didn't have many experience and know-how in jet-powered trainer aircrafts (it has of course in piston-engined models, that are quite different); the last and only was with Yak-30 in 1960, that was not selected by sovietic air force and never started production. Alenia/Aermacchi, on the other hand, has great and continuos experience in this class of aircrafts (for example MB-326, MB-339; S-211/M-31, AMX-T). Yak 130 is more similar to previous Aermacchi models that any other yakovel one; don't You think? M346 is not a licensed yakolev, but the autonomous evolution (basicaly for avionics) of a same aircraft. The end of the (very positive, imho) russian-italian partnership was due primarly to the lack of funding from the russian partner. There is more Italy in YAK-130 than you think.
