As a librarian, I would like to remind people if the internet goes down, that libraries are important. To also say that it takes a master's degree in library and information science to have the knowledge and skills to run one. It takes a lot to learn about book binding, conservation, restoration, inkier, printing, management etc. please realize you and your family depend on information and do not permit the libraries (or librarians for that matter) to be harmed. It is the last vestige of knowledge humanity will need. In the humble book.... To rebuild.

@@kevinstrade2752the average shelf life of a hard drive is 5-10 years. A typical book printed today lasts 30 or so if cared for. A book made of parchment and vellum etc can last centuries if well cared for. Yet the key is they all need care. That is where the most knowledge was lost. Due to the simple passage of time and books uncared for yellowing and ink with too high a PH, or humidity etc. destroying them . I would encourage preppers to view a public or university or school library, as an essential aspect of their preparedness. For few people can afford a private library of their own. If the grid & Internet goes down, it will either be a Jericho type situation, or a Mad Max type situation. I hope that most people take a stance that they want their community to survive & thrive, not just their immediate family & friends. I'd rather have a community than a gang or cult. A community is a step toward bringing a normal lifestyie back.

Supply chains are now totally dependent on the internet. No internet, stores will have issues getting restocked, and probably payments as well since the use the internet for debt & CC transactions.

A couple a Canadian Preppers shows ago, the guest stated, " its easier to feed your neighbors rather than kill them". That really made me think hard and differently.

@@guytech7310 For the past couple of years the supply chain has been dwindling down. It all started with the suez canal. China have been buying up rice and wheat because they know what's coming. The US, were having food flown in which also raised the prices in the stores. Nothing is ever a coincidence. We are watching the controlled demolition which has been planned for years. I'm in the UK and someone was telling me a few days ago how bare some of the shelves were looking. I asked when they first started to notice and they said to me, the past 9 months or so. I first noticed about 2 years ago how the gaps in some stores were beginning to look quite prominent. I'd see promotion stuff down numerous aisles to try and disguise the huge gaps. I was also struggling to get hold of a few things that once used to be easily available. Savers in the UK which supply cleaning stuff and toiletries have had supply issues for well over 2 years now. The shelves look dire most of the time when I happen to pop in to this particular store. I just hope people are ready/prepared because when the internet goes down along with ATM machines, people that haven't been paying attention to what's going on will no doubt turn to the streets. Should that happen, no one in their right mind will even want to leave their home because it will be sheer chaos in towns/cities right across western nations.

One thing that also happens with content creators like yourself is that you have inspired folks to seek out other channels in addition to yours - who may also be being limited by a glass ceiling or even a false lower number of viewers & views. So, collectively, the numbers of awake & ready are still growing, perhaps "safely" outside of the algorithm opression radar! You make a huge difference. The full truth may come out years from now. 💝

Brother I feel you 100% KZbin in the early 00’s was raw and uncensored real news so glad i could experience that time. Honestly I think there are a good number of people who want free unbiased real news but we don’t have a platform, everything is regulated or controlled this is a burning question that’s in the back of all our minds that we want an answer to or solution.

I totally agree with you in Canada here KZbin is increasingly becoming harder to find the content I want to see. I got into watching your videos because I want to go completely off grid I do not want anything to do with society today . And as for the people that don’t realize how manipulated our searches are on KZbin, even on the Internet, use Google for instance punch in a question that you want the answer for and look at what the results are then go to another search engine other than Google and punch in the same question see what the results are so like I was saying for myself, I wanna go completely off grid. I don’t want anything to do with society at all . I don’t want anything to do with provincial or federal government. A certain point government is no different than organized crime even organized crime have rules they won’t break but not the government.

I completely relate to this. Back in late 2019 and early 2020, I began my own journey into “prepping,” likely similar to many others. I noticed the virus worsening before it was even on the radar in the U.S. As a beginner in this new prepping landscape, I turned to KZbin to help me understand what supplies I actually needed for preparedness. "Guns were definitely a priority." During that time, using the filters on KZbin proved incredibly helpful. I had no interest in videos from teenagers showcasing makeshift weapons like baseball bats with nails and barbed wire. It was 2019, and we had guns available. "I get it-ammunition can run out," but I wasn’t going to rely on a DIY zombie bat to protect my home when a real firearm was just a purchase away. Thanks to those filter settings, I stumbled upon a wealth of useful content, including your channel, which contributed a lot to where I am now. However, today it’s a different story. Even as a subscriber to your channel, I find that using the same filters yields no satisfactory results. It’s odd how I can’t see your videos or even your channel unless I type in the exact title or name. Instead, it presents state channels or news segments like “How to prepare for this upcoming winter” or “FEMA's recommendations for home preparedness,” which are honestly quite underwhelming. What’s even stranger is that when I search for specific terms, it will show a handful of relevant videos, but then throw in a mix of recommended content, followed by videos I’ve partially watched. It’s perplexing. Now, I’ve stopped using the search filters altogether since they don’t lead me to what I’m actually looking for. Instead, I've just subscribed to a few prepping channels and now I’m just waiting for their next uploads.

Nate, Happy New Year! I started my quest on prepping in 1997. Then there was so much information that it was amazing. Amazing because the amount of information available today is ridiculous. Conspiracies were openly available for research. I was lucky that I had access at work with a large insurance company. No censoring at all back then. Today it is a joke.

I do agree with your perspectives Nate about the under 25 emphasis - as I have gotten older, now 70, myself and others have become invisible in society - and as my generation dies off our influence for good, or bad will disappear, if not gone already. You mentioned a movie "Leave the World Behind" that highlighted message control, another movie is "Look Up" - the message there was simply ignored, because society didn't like the message. I enjoy your site and 1.33 million others do as well - but the simple truth is, few people around me and in the world want to prep - why...they don't like what they hear - it upsets them. Governments are NO better. So be happy you reached who you did. Have a great New Year what ever may come. And REMEMBER the under 25 are the first generation - thanks to texting - that DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE CAPITALS, or punctuation !!!
