Emergency Alert System (EAS) scenario about SCP-001 - When Day Breaks. This is probably the idea that I have been asked the most often and it is with pleasure that I finally present the result to you.

Honestly it would be Interesting to see an EAS on another SCP-001 proposal "The World's Gone Beautiful", how it starts reporting suspicious flowers pretty much everywhere, then it's like "we are all gonna die!" but suddenly turns into positive messages. Anyway, great work as always!

@@neisvestno2444 well the SCP is kinda vauge on what it is a bit. its said the world will 100% end after the flowers but its not explained if its just instant ending or if the real hell starts after that day. it could be the scarlet king decides to increase the amount of trolling he does to reality and turns reality to hell, it could be just thanos snaps twice and everyone peacefully disintegrates. we really don't know and its not the point of the SCP

Don't worry. Depending on how old you are, you may never need to worry about it. The last EAS mentions an 8G network. Going at the current rate of mobile network numbers, there is 1 new network available to the public about once a decade (10 years). Considering that it takes a few years after first commercial availability, typically around 5 years or so, we can expect day to break in about 30 to 35 years. If the average life expectancy in the US is 79 years (as of 2015), Then, to avoid this disaster entirely, you would have to be 44 years old. So, if anyone watching this video is 44 or older, you don't have to worry about day breaking within your lifetime (unless you end up living for a long time).

When Day Breaks is the only SCP I've actually had nightmares about, after watching and reading many videos and stuff about it, I wasn't able to sleep well for a week or two. It didn't help that it was the peak of summer and there were alot of supermoons which makes the moon look red right? Yea, I agree that I may have been a little too paranoid about this funny little fictional scenario but something just really struct and hit me, it never happened for any other eldritch horrors I have read/watched about and I have a genuine fear of When Day Breaks. It's like a Hell on Earth, even the dead isn't safe.

Honestly, “When Day Breaks” and “After the Rain” are the most terrifying scenarios to ever have been thought of. Like imagine being hit with a single drop of water and that being the cause of your inevitable death without knowing? Or being in a scenario where even trying to imagine how you would survive in that scenario seems impossible? Very scary stuff indeed.

To be brutally honest with you, if something this horrifying ever happened in real life, I would snap mentally. I'd immediately kill myself, or succumb to this event or the rain one. I wouldn't mentally be able to handle the end of the world. My family, friends, everything I know and love are gone. The human race is extinct, except for me. Nope, I'd walk outside and embrace the same fate, if I didn't die immediately in the onset of the event. Just terrifying to think about.

I'm a couple months late, but to be honest, SCP - 001 is my favorite SCP that i have ever researched about. An SCP that takes one of the most prioritized thing that we have on earth, the Sun, and turning it against us, it's just so interesting to look at. It's basically putting humanity in a place where even if they didn't die at the get go, eventually they will inevitably die off until nobody is left from humanity. You can't even kill yourself, as they would just revive you and turn you into one of them as well. I can't imagine if this actually happened in real life, the world as we know it would actually be just a wasteland. You rocked the way that I feel like that some areas would actually inform the people that are there about what happened and how they could possibly survive, but unfortunately, nobody could survive.
