As a singer she doesn’t have the best voice ever, it's average and her solo discography gives evidence of that. She can sing though, in the sense that she has a good intonation. As a rapper, her rapping voice is powerful and unique, no one sounds like her. As a singer her voice is actually very soft-like.

otis lebowski DC has never had a class like the UK groups such as Eternal and Bananarama, for instance. I hate DC and Beyonce - everything is so overblown about B. However, En-Vogue, TLC and SWV are classy and classic, too. DC were huge, but no soul in their music, just a product.

I happen to know songwriters and producers that have worked with them so don’t tell me what I know already. Producers /songwriters makes best decisions for songs to sound the best they could, certain voices /tones /ranges might suit certain parts /vibe of songs. Sabrina May have been better singer but su-Elise voice may sound better for a particular part...I know what I’m talking about

From Wikipedia; Mis-Teeq was a British girl group consisting of Sabrina Washington, Su-Elise Nash and Alesha Dixon. They were active from 1999 to 2005. Mis-Teeq has had two top ten albums and seven consecutive top ten singles in the UK Singles Chart, as well as success in Europe, Asia, Australia and the US. Their debut studio album, Lickin' on Both Sides, on 27 October 2001, reached number three in the UK Albums Chart and was certified double platinum. The album featured the group's first five singles, all of which became UK top 10 hits, including their debut single "Why?" ” featuring McNally and “All I Want”. On March 29, 2003, after a hiatus, they released their second studio album Eye Candy, also a double platinum success. This album featured their biggest international hit "Scandalous", which reached number 2 on the US Billboard Dance charts. The group announced in February 2005 that they would be breaking up to pursue solo careers, due to the demise of their label Telstar Records. They released a greatest hits album on 25 April 2005 to coincide with their split. History; 1997-2001: Formation and line-up changes Alesha Dixon and Sabrina Washington met in 1997 at the Dance Attic studios in Fulham through Louise Porter, who was putting together a group for her production company Big Out Ltd. The pair worked with Louise Porter for several years before being joined by Tina Barrett will form a singing and dancing trio. They were called Face2Face, were unsigned and all the band members were still working day jobs. Barrett left to join S Club 7 after a successful audition for Simon Fuller and was replaced by Zena McNally and Su-Elise Nash. Their then producer David Brant (writer of their first two hit singles, "Why?" and "All I Want") introduced them through DJ Darren Stokes (TinTinOut) to Inferno Records (sub pop) A&R man Pat Travers , who went on to sign them to Telstar Records and changed their name to Mis-Teeq. After months of recording - including sessions with Norwegian duo Stargate along with Brant (Vybrant Music), Ed Case, Blacksmith, Rishi Rich and Ceri Evans - Mis-Teeq released his debut single in 2001, 'Why? ”, a Latin-flavored mid-tempo song written and produced by Brant. A garage remix by Matt "Jam" Lamont soon became a hit in the UK underground garage scene and as a result a second music video for the song was filmed and released. "Why" became a hit in the UK Singles Chart, peaking at number eight. McNally decided to leave the band in January 2001, saying she was unhappy with "an imbalance in the group". 2001-2002: Lickin' on Both Sides and tours The three remaining members released their second single "All I Want" in June 2001. It was co-written and originally produced by David Brant, and produced and remixed by Ceri Evans (also known as Sunship). The song topped the success of the trio's debut single, becoming a number 2 hit in the UK and simultaneously entering the top 30 of the Australian Singles Chart. The group finally released their debut album Lickin' on Both Sides on October 27, 2001. It was certified platinum by the UK Phonographic Industry on September 7, 2001. However, Mis-Teeq experienced instant international success with his third Stargate-produced single, "One Night Stand". While the song peaked at number 5 in the UK Singles Chart, it also entered the top 20 in Australia, New Zealand, Norway and Denmark. In 2002, the band's fourth single, "B with Me", continued the group's outstanding sales with another UK top 10 entry; re-enters at No. 5. The last release from Lickin' on Both Sides was a double A-side of "Roll on" and the Montell Jordan cover "This Is How We Do It", the latter song being included on the Ali soundtrack.
