The Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 will take place in the Liverpool Arena next to the River Mersey on Saturday 13 May with Semi-Finals on Tuesday 9 and Thursday 11 May.

I'm so proud of my county for sending this. And at this point I don't even care that much about the result. Like you said, Germany has a big metal scene and I always felt like Europe wants us to send something like this for many years. And now we finally deliver it. What I've heard in interviews is that they want to use red confetti to blood on stage (a blood rain is not possible) This will be a moment in Liverpool

I'm not from Europe but I've been asking for a german industrial metal entry since discovering Eurovision. I feel that's Germany's thing. I'm a LotL fan so it's so nice to see them in Eurovision. I'm only a little bummed out because industrial metal sounds BEASTLY in german and this was a good opportunity to showcase this. But that's ok, if that's the price to have LotL on Eurovision, it's ok.

All money they earn with this collection will be donated to an organization that works on the reforestation of the rain forest! These five guys are just the most lovely,humble and caring human beings,and they deserve ANY success in this world and all love they can get from the Eurovision fans!💕✨️ "Blood & Glitter" is an irresistibly catchy anthem of life and equality,telling us to embrace the contrasts within ourselves rather than denying who we are,and emphasizing that unity should be our purpose instead of hate and seclusion: "We are all from the same blood". Now we as the Losties will give our hearts and souls to achieve a great Eurovision result together with them,and I'm sure outstandingly creative musicians like them deserve the TOP 10 - especially because they will enhance the staging once more for Liverpool! Their music might be dark and enigmatic,but the message behind all of this is pure love - I'd absolutely recommend you to listen to other of their songs such as "Morgana", "Black Halo" and "Priest",as they usually blow away all people who delve into their back catalogue. You should watch the winner's performance, it was even better and a little mor the Chris we know from concerts. They got a vocal walkthrough on their YT channel, it is in german though. Thank you again!! And your interview with Chris was great. ❤ okay, he could read the phone book and I'd buy it 🤣 And taking care of your child should never be worth an apology 🥰 Australia and Germany are very different and with a few acts in between, I think we might just eat 'em up 😅 But like you said, our metal and rock scene finally got heard and noticed with a bang!

It's NDR that rejected that bands. Electric Callboy tried It. Anda for sure more bands were rejected cause they weren't radio friendly.

I can see us at a 12-15th placement overall but we definitely need to be at the second half of the final 🙏🏼🙏🏼 as we are no favorites the organizers probably would not put us at the 10-13 positions if we would be in the first half 😅

I recommend you to have a look at the performances of Lord of the Lost at the Mera' Luna Festival, which show the bandwidth of the music of Lord of the Lost. I as a German am glad that finally a group of the black scene gets a chance at the ESC.

I had the same criticism: For Eurovision itself, we need more actual glitter on stage! 😂 Remember some performers who used so much as if they had already won (Only Teardrops) - and then they did? 😁

Well, I agree, while I don't think that it's gonna be in the Top 10 (OK, maybe in 10th place), I'm certain, it's not gonna land in the Bottom 5 either, maybe rank 10 to 19, I would guess. Don't be too overconfident Germany, or else you get disappointed. Really an improvement over the entries of previous years, but no resurrection like Spain and UK last year. The red monochromatic lighting just fits the song, so does the styling, since it's called blood and glitter. lol And I can only agree with a commenter, who said it would be more impactful, if he would sing the melodic vocals first, and then the more talky ones, maybe they can still change it. I hope so.

We are already happy not to finish last again. But the last entries really didn't deserve much else. Boring... Electric Callboy had applied last year and was not admitted to the preliminary round by the jury. Not radio-suitable enough. Lord of the Lost are now profiting a bit from that. Will they win, I don't think so. 10-15 would be a good placement. More gladly seen ;). Greetings from Germany.

i know Eurovision is usually seen as a big "gay parade", but i'm loving how queer this contest is turning out to be...not everyone is literally LGBT, but just that outsider, freak flag, "queering the system" with like Romania, Germany, France, Serbia, Finland, Croatia, Belgium...i love it
