They should have won in 2022, but it's crazy that Serbia is last Balkan country that won Eurovision, it's been 17 years, come on Europe, we need Eurovision back in affordable countries with big arenas!

I agree. 2022 entry hadn’t received appreciation it deserve. Entry was sensational and I’m pretty sure it’s the one that has turned tables in Eurovision opening the doors to more experimental entries. Not meaning that we can see sometime like this in ESC. Cause it’s a once in a lifetime entry.

5:07 Sanja recently said that she went to Eurovision 3 times already and that it would be really embarrassing if she were to go for the 4th time and not win. She followed up by saying that she would like to represent Serbia again but until she finds a winning song she's not coming back.

I am frustrated that recent Serbia's performances are better in NFs than on the Esc stage. Better staging, camera work, and vocals. It should be the other way around. That is my complaint. I just want the delegation not to drop the ball; just repeat the level of awesomeness we had on NF. Then we can end wherever we end and I will be happy

@@sarahenchanted It doesn't. It would have been better if the whole thing was organized like a festival, with the audience. It would pay off, but so far there is no word it will happen. The only thing this wouldn't solve are camera cuts on Esc. I really need RTS to send someone to deal with camera work at Esc...someone pushy

@@belosevickris3379Now there is venue called Sava Centre where NF used to be held, it was renovated this year but the problem is that NF takes weeks to prepare and organise and venue would have to be rented for longer period of time and it would cost a lot RTS (Serbian broadcaster). That is what they said. It is also that in RTS studio contestants have family atmosphere where they eat in local restaurant, spend time together, meet each other and have great time so they are very relaxed and they love that RTS studio. Many of them just want to compete for fun. The best would be if they could combine these two places. They should have rehearsals in old RTS studio and maybe two nights of Semi-finals and only finals in Sava Centre in front of big audience. That stage is beautiful and new. PZE would keep what contestants like and would gain experience in front of live audience.

Where are they now: 2007 - Marija still the biggest star of all of them who ever participated 2008 - Jelena one of the leader of POP in Serbia 2009 - dont know where the guy is 2010 - Milan in a monastery 2011 - Nina living in Australia 2012 - Zeljko doing his job 2013-19 - Nevena and Sara doing good, Mirna not 2015 - Bojana loss SOME weight, looks GREAT 2016 - Sanja currently popular, at this moment, and she will be 2017 - Tijana is doing really well, love her songs 2018 - Sanja Ilic died, dont know where are the rest of them 2021 - Ksenia and Ivana in a shadow 2022 - Konstrakta TRUE LEGEND, doing GREAT 2023 - Luke dont know where he is 2024 - Teya good as always

Luke released a new album back in May, finished his European tour back in June and performed at EXIT festival in July. He also recently had an intimate acoustic show in London just yesterday

hot take (?), I think they would've won in 2012 if Loreen wasn't there (and in the case where Sweden sent a weaker song of course) If Croatia can come close to winning out of nowhere I KNOW Serbia has it in them to pull it off sooner rather than later.

Every song is a hit, every entry was worthy of a qualification, and they never finished below 11th place in a semi-final. In 2009, they actually came in 10th, but didn't get the golden jury ticket (or whatever name they used for that). And they're also the only country, so far which has won with their first entry.

Serbia is a weid one..Some songs i really like and sometimes they dip. The last 5 years have been amazing though. 2007 - simple, emotional, winner! 2008 - Not bad 2099 - I was a fan... 2010 - This was not great 2011 - Adorable vibes..good voice. 2012 - Good voice! Strong balad. 2013 - One of my favorite Sebian entries.. 2014 - (no entry) 2015 - not bad, but meh! 2016 - underrated 2017 - generic 2018 - Not for me 2019 - Meh! 2020 - Good! But 2021 was better 2021 - What is not to love... 2022 -Another special one to never forget 2023 - My personal favorite Serbian entry 2024 - Bored me (i much preferred Portugal)

@@samserlierofficial4640 ehhh… 1) the idea that juries only like ballads isn’t completely true. The Swiss song this year was not a ballad… 2) Teya had a lot of direct competition this year… that is never really a good recipe
