The Micron can play up to 8 different! sounds at a time, you can create up to 26 splits/layers (a-z, tested!) and set them across all 88 keys which can be reached with the octave buttons. Together with the build in drum machine and grovebox this machine is a killer. It comes loaded with tons of stuff from factory. If you can't find one try looking for a miniak, same deal, different name.

This synth is not for beginners, its for SOUND DESIGNERS!!! Crazy synth power. MicroKorg does not have this power.

forgive me i am new to synths. iwas looking around and this seems to be a decent one. are you able to record or program for playback, i am a guitarist and want to add a synth to my jamming and want to know how much you can record for playback?
