bobby alessi Omigod is that THE real Bobby Alessi oh I loved you and your brother soooo much when I was little I wondered what happened with you UK are not very good at keeping up with all US musicians. Jeff Porcaro on drums?

No, not Jeff but we loved the way he played and would have used him on everything we did if they would let us. He made us feel so comfortable...he played on all our A&M albums except for "All For A Reason" On this track we used Tommy from Chris's band...great drummer also.

He was the nicest guy...you'd never know he was the hottest drummer in the hottest band in LA at the time. He would come early and hang out with Billy & I while they were setting up the studio. We used his brother Steve also and Steve was also a nice guy, super talented...but it was from him that we'd hear all about Toto's latest achievments..Jeff never bragged about anything. guess it's true...Only the good die young.
