Outshines the Original! Alessia Scolletti performs primary and backing vocals to Sonata Arctica's Full Moon. Tony Kakko has a unique, captivating voice, which made me a fan from the first listen, so I was a doubter when I encountered this cover. But Alessia out of absolutely nowhere injects power and emotion into this song that made me go back to Kakko's version to find out why I didn't have it on my go-to play list. My jaw dropped when I realized Alessia's version is better; she's fully committed emotionally, selling the tragically compelling story of the werewolf with definition Kakko's version just didn't muster. If you know Sonata Arctica, you understand how unheard of it is to outperform them. In short this is an amazing, moving version and Alessia delivers an outstanding performance.

The 15th aniversary version is my personal favorite, and i have wouldn't be here if i didnt absolutely live this song. But still kako's voice has a secret ingredient to it, and a lot of power. Still though, fullmoon cover? Count me in anyday lol

Guarda, può darsi: trattandosi di una canzone per voce maschile avente molte parti basse all'inizio, effettivamente non è propriamente quella che definirei adatta ad una cantante femminile dal registro soprano, come appunto è il mio. Nonostante questo ho preferito dare precedenza al mio gusto personale, tralasciando per una volta il discorso "scegli una canzone che sia perfetta al 100% per la tua voce", decidendo oltretutto di non variarne la tonalità: dopotutto non mi sto proponendo per un provino, per cui fortunatamente questo discorso può finire in secondo piano :)
