Some tips and tricks on how to use your Aleut style paddle. Over the past 15 years I have paddle more than 2000 nautical miles with this type of paddle. I do all kinds of paddling - silent trips, racing, surf and rock garden play.

From summer 2020 to today I have paddle more than 400Nm with... Aleutian paddle made "EastPole Paddle"! My shoulders are thankful!!😉

I have two paddles bought 4 years ago. A reinforced greenland paddle and an aleut touring paddle. They both are great each in their own way. When my girlfriend took up paddling and I told her to try anders paddle, she never wanted to paddle otherwise again then greenland way. Its so intuitive and light she said. It feels an extension of my own body. Yes it is great. Thanks Anders

I have one of Anders' Greenland paddles, and it is SUPERB! I tried a carbon version, and it was completely different - it seemed to slip past the water with less control. Anders' feels very "kind" to the body and good technique has developed quite naturally. Thanks, Anders.

Ty for the great video with explanation. I'll be testing my new aleut paddle for the next few days. But sorry, it's not yours but I got it cheaply.

That boat is so skinny. Can’t wait to try a proper Greenland paddle. Been using a lendal cadence for a couple months now. Love the speed it provides but it destroys my shoulders on longer days.

Shoulder issues is often a good reason to try an Inuit style paddle. I'll make you one, just say when :)
