This song has been with me since I was 20, when I still served in the military. I'd listen to it on lonely nights during patrol shifts. It followed me to my first job after I finished my military service when I was working as a barista. It played at least once every hour at the small coffee shop where I served. The song was there through my spiritual and physical (workout) developments. It was there when I moved abroad, when I visited places. This song was the first one I ever played in the car after I got my license and my first car. It's still guiding me now, when I am married and we're expecting a child. Thank you for this masterpiece; it has means the world to me. ❤

The clip is just mesmerizing. The contrast with the tropics on the screen with an urban background kinda represents the hope of escaping this environment even just for a moment for a tropical resort. The marimbas in this song are beautiful especially with the reverb added. The deep soul vocals match the rhythmic percussions and the way the pianos cut off drags off to bring you to the melodic drop is simply amazing.
