alex has been SLAYING the cabaret/bar scene in ny forEVER. the bigger audiences just took awhile to notice but him and his buddies (drew gasparini, andrew kober, haynie) could always be found somewhere doing something entertaining... usually on a monday or sunday night.

The band is credited. The way these cabaret nights work is that a house band or group of instrumental musicians will play all night and different people will sing the songs that fit in with the theme of the evening. This performance was 'The Music of Elton John". If you need more examples of this type of show look up "Broadway 54 Below" these types of performances happen there all the time.
