@@Ziyech1 Nah, Strickland's coach just had a better gameplan against Izzy that most coaches never thought of before. And it was simple too. Strickland's team made sure Sean was not at Izzy's range, kept it close and in his face, boxed him to keep him from kicking, and memorized Izzy's offensive pattern which is what made Sean block all of them. Adesanya never changed much of his strategy since he beat Whittaker in 2019 and only now has someone finally cracked the code to beating him. If Pereira used the same gameplan as Strickland, or any middleweight of that matter, they will beat Adesanya. Strickland's team have laid the foundation to the cheat codes that can beat Izzy.

Sean was always in Izzys range he had a 6" reach over him (maybe 4") what dictated the fight is Izzy came out thinking his usual plan that he's mastered so well was going to be ideal for Stricklands style, chin high walk forward pressure. This on paper is Izzys dream as a counter striker. Watch his fights, for the first round Izzy stays on the outside not allowing to be backed against the cage chopping leg kick after leg kick, depending on how may kicks landed will now decide the next round, hand speed and power still there, more leg kicks till that lead leg is compromised and now the power and speed are gone. round 3 get him reacting to every faint then send it high or catch a counter on a out of position shot (because lead leg is destroyed). Good night. If you was the first round Sean checks every low kick beautifully (chin on chin that is doing the same damage if not more to Izzy) then sending one counter straight down the middle. because of the checks and instant counters from Sean he now becomes reluctant to kick get himself backed up against the cage (remember this is were Izzy doesn't want to be worst place for him,) Sean faints the jab #2 lands clean. after his kicking game was gone and Sean walked him down trading shot for shot, Izzy got counted ever time his shot. Well we all know this is Stricklands happy place.

The funniest part is how immediately after Sean won, Alex went online to say that he was planning to cut down to MW one more time but now he has no reason to 😂😂😂 Only wanted double champ status if he was taking it away from Izzy, that's the most elite dedication to trolling someone I've ever seen. But don't let any of this distract you from the fact that the UFC has been lying on their fight statistics the past few years. Go check the stats for this fight, they're pretending Izzy landed more in 2 rounds, which is ridiculous if you actually watched it. There wasn't a single round that Izzy outlanded him, the only reason he even got r2 from the judges was because he had the biggest shot of that round. They did the same thing with Chimaev vs Burns, didn't count his knockdowns at all and pretended the striking was extremely close every round even though Burns not only landed more, but landed the bigger shots too. They're doing this shit so that the casual fans can look back at the stats a few years later without watching the fight and they'll be convinced it was a legit call, or in this new case so that they can justify an immediate rematch that Izzy doesn't deserve after that 1 sided beatdown.
