Thank God for people with sophisticated musical taste. Where would we be if all there was to listen to was pop?

Fusion has been with us for half a century plus. For those who were listening to white (UK) jazz fusion in 1970-74, and then moved onto more black American funk fusion, and have sort of stayed with these things since, I am glad to see it is still happening. I regard the best work of Mike and Randy Brecker as near the pinnacle of this stuff.

I keep coming back to this fusion gem every couple of months. All the performances are awe-inspiring. Love the drum and sax duel. Mohini as always is magnificent and that guitar solo is world-class. I can't escape the feeling of nostalgia due to the Dixie Dregs sounding head. I expect to hear Steve Morse leading this band. But that's just me.

There have been a lot of great fusion stuff, RTF romantic warrior, Ritenour captain fingers, the list goes on, this stuff was great too, no doubt, it’s all unique, I wouldn’t make comparisons, new techniques, new technology. Hopefully, the world will continue to evolve and improve with each passing generation! But there’s also emotion, that transcends beyond everything else.

Nice vision, Alex. The heavy lifting was def worth it. Love how Federico is so conscious of what and where the melody is, driving it without overstepping. And Mohini's asymmetric -- and melodic (!!!) -- phrasing. Takes serious skill to engineer flowing lines that seamlessly persist over innovative chord breaks like that. Props to Pino for spotlighting it with hip voicings. Nice work.

Now you know this don't make no sense! These musicians ooze fusion jazz from their pores! I am a drummer, so naturally I was digging this guy's masterful gift. And the tone on those heads were spot on! But I ve been wanting to to pick up a bass lately, but now since I heard Mohini Dey's passionate and ferocious movements throughout this song makes me want to get a bass from that company. It sounds so good, fat, and deep! AND SHE FINE AS HE......... I mean she's very pretty. The saxophone player was tight and Alex was putting out his business on that guitar! Straight 🔥🔥🔥🔥🚒!!!! Waiting for the CD to come out! 2023 ArtSplosure!!!! RALEIGH NC!!! PLEASE HEADLINE THIS CONCERT!!!

Does this music have a genre other than astonishingly beautiful? It seems like maybe Indian fusion? I hear a little of everything. Maybe it's just the scales but I even hear some connection with my Ravi Shankar/Yehudi Menuhin East Meets West LPs. It's lovely, I see I stopped by this clip 4 months ago. Glad it came up again.
