I say Philippe Petit is a very close second with his highwire act between the Twin Towers in NYC. Petit had the added stressors of his activity being completely illegal.

Your opinion, but not even close. The rock is really easy. Sure he free soloed it which is crazy but there are tougher routes and tougher mountians to climb . I dont think greatness can be compared, in the entire history of humanity we've had our share of epic moments. This was amazing and im a huge fan but its not the greatest surely

I wish he lives a 100 yrs of life and entertain us all along. though sometimes it gets hard to even watch his documentaries and footages, let alone to be there live. took me 2 years to buildup the courage to watch his el capitan climb.
