I had a co-worker from Bosnia who fought in the war there. He was a brilliant artist but he was haunted by his wartime experience. Alex carries a similar vibe. Listen to this man! Yugoslavia was really the first sacrifice performed by unipolarity. We didn’t know in the 90s what savagery would follow in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya, the Sahel states, Donbas, etc..

I think in a historic retro perspective, events machinated by Empire in Yugoslavia in the 90's will be considered as the opening of a silent WW3, which is now slowly reaching its end point. Balkan is the multicultural intersection between Catholism/Protestantism, Orthodoxy and Islam. I think when reconciliation and harmony is once again brought back there, we will once again live in a fairly peaceful world with a wiser population.

In Johannesburg, South Africa they government put in a toll road system, like they have in many places around the country. However driving is essential in that city, and the Taxi Associations threatened to cause mayhem if they had to pay tolls, and where given that free pass. Well, the rest of the drivers felt this was unfair and decided to bocott and not pay tolls. Since the system was set up as an "e" system people just never paid their accounts. Eventually the amount was too much to be able to be collected and the system was scrapped. So civil disobedience can work if the numbers are big enough. During Covid the Health Ministry decided to use it as a means to force people to stop smoking. Instantly a grey, and black market opened up. The black market is now permanent and the Government is losing millions in tax revenue. The same happened with alcohol. There is always a way around an obstacle even if its trading in "firewood".😊
