Morgan had that top-end speed, beating everyone to the ball, followed by that lethal kick on goal, that made her so dangerous. She's also a class-act - it'll be weird not seeing her on the pitch, she'll be missed.

Im from Denmark and i love Alex Morgan as a player .. for me, she has been the best player on the USWNT for the last 15 years... i would put her in the top 5 of the best players in the world as well consistently , but she's been up against quite a few Europeans better than her and a certain Brazilian as well.. im so sad she is retiring.. i play Football manager and the upcoming game 2025 . will for the first time, in the 30 + years that game has been made, have the ability to manage women's football, and Alex would have been my first transfer
