I enjoy John’s intellect and view points. The biggest challenge Uganda faces is its classification of the internet as a service. Many countries the world over have recognized the internet as a utility and a necessity, NOT a luxury. The sooner our old fashioned government recognizes this, cuts taxes, and opens up the telecom market to other investors players the better for the economy. The art industry is just a drop of the sea of all affected industries. If the costs of the internet are cut into half, or even less than half of what they are today, the Ugandan government would definitely increase its taxable revenue by more than 800%

The truth is that even those countries where theatre is still working well tetuzisiinga different types of entertainment and on top of that with all the different entertainment types they have there's still space for theatre which I believe it's the same case in Uganda..... creatives shud just up their game
