He is In the jagr territory to be playing over 45... I would say when he is 41-42, he can easily play 14 Min a night and pretty much just be a PP specialists. That's at least 4min a night on the PP. Play on the middle 6 pretty much... I think he will break it this season and if he can play 4 more seasons I would say easily break 1,000. Captials look legit . The only thing that would hinge this is of course seep playoff runs. And if he wins the cup .

Ovi would be motivated to prolong his NHL career after breaking the goal record beyond the current contract if the Caps are still a SC contender. He still has 3-4 more years at the elite level.
