If you think about it, the current Minecraft plants, and a few creatures like bees and spiders, were available during the Late Cretaceous era, specifically at the time the mass extinction event when the non-avian dinosaurs had died out. Just adding any specific animals from then could make a vanilla-themed mod too.

Thinking of it, this could actually make sense since they went extinct because smoke clouds blocked the sun, killing the plants, herbivores and carnivores. I have idea for VERY BIG update of primordial caves: New Mobs: Hadrosaurid, that will be easy meal for Valumraptors, it can be tamed with sarine salad and rideable: Ability: Acceleration: Dinosaur will speed up outrunning Valumraptors. It Can breed with same food as Grottoceratops. If you name it "Elvis" it will become TLW Parasaurolophus. Spinosaurid that will be another apex and rival of Tremorsaurus. Spawn near lakes and not affected by roar of Tremorsaurus. It can be tamed as the way with Tremorsaurus. Rideable too: Ability: Roar: Will scare all mobs except Tremorsaurus. If you name it "Asset 87" it will change skin to JP3 Spinosaurus. Allosaurid that will be another carnivore. Hunting in groups to take down Atlatitans. Can be tamed in the way as spinosaurid and Tremorsaurus but a lot easier. Rideable: Ability: Slash, This is a powerful attack but not enough to take down Tremorsaurus or spinosaurid. Stegosaur, who will coexist with Grottoceratops and Relicheirus, cannot be tamed but can be breed. Ankylosaurid who will be a hard meal for Tremorsaurus and spinosaurid, can't be affected by their roars. Can't be tamed. If you name it "Bumpy" it will have skin of JWCC Bumpy. New Features: If you name Tremorsaurus "Buck" it will turn into TLW Male T Rex, if "Doe", to TLW Female T Rex, if "Rexy", to Female T Rex with scars. Sonething interesting is that at 0:57 the rest of those raptors run away when the orange colored one is killed. Perhaps those orange ones are alphas. This makes be think that if you could raise one of these raptors by imprinting on them, you could control all the other raptors as well.

Very good, I will use this mod when it comes out. But i'd like to write a few suggestions/ideas: - Increase the tyrannosaurid mob's size and make it's roar stun or scare prey. - The small blue therapods should eat meats to heal. - Add an "alpha" version for the blue dinos which commands small troops and has higher values, more vibrant crest markings. The alpha will lead troops when at full health and take blocks or clumps of items (like endermen but they can carry 32 items instead of a block) but as soon as it gets hurt a bit, the alpha will retreat and recall the blue dinos and force them to give it foods to heal. -Make the triceratops graze on the grass -Add more insects like meganeura or a cousin of the cave centipede based on arthropleura -Ambersol mosquito as a possible Crimson mosquito variant? -Remember to add purpose to each mob, either taming or drops! Here are some ideas; - Triceratops shield -A helmet made from an ankylosaurus-pacycephalosauria -Feathers from that large bird-type dinosaur (which cuts down the tree) could be used to make an arrow, which you can tip with the ambersol which produces a similar effect to glowing -Tyrannosaur tooth/fossil tool sets -You can tame the birds for a flying/gliding mount or kill them for drops to tame T-rex or bird thing Good job and hope this Helped!

So keen for this mod, I like that they are rare and underground. A lot of mods make awesome creatures super common and it makes them feel less special. This will make finding dinosaurs crazy, and keeping them in your base even crazier. Not to mention they look amazing! Although the T-rex's walking animation looks a bit wobbly haha
