Alex Mob's adds a whole bunch of cleverly designed mobs to Minecraft. What's more is that the mod developer goes through the effort to make sure that they fit right in with the rest of vanilla Minecraft's style of mobs. In this mod showcase, we'll look at each of the mobs individually, as well as their related items!

This mod looks amazing! It’s probably the most vanilla-friendly mod that adds creatures to the game, even the fantasy ones don’t look that far-fetched. Also I love how each of the mobs have unique ways with interacting with one another, and how each of them have their own items that they drop without being too overpowered. I’ll definitely have to download this mod at some point!

A few ideas I like to share with this mod 1) Pigeon Pigeons naturally spawn in deciduous forests like birch and also near villages. They are passive, and tend to live in flocks. They primarily feed on seeds, nuts, and vegetables. Their predators are raccoons, foxes and snakes. You can tame them with seeds like sunflower seeds, and breed them using nuts or veggies. Once tamed, you can sneak and right-click your pigeon to have them navigate your way home even from hundreds of blocks away. (Inspired by real pigeons' ability to find their way home over journeys of several hundred miles) STATS: HP: 6 (3 hearts) Behavior: Passive EASTER EGG: If you name a pigeon "Cher Ami", a halo will pop above the pigeon's head, in remembrance of Cher Ami, the homing pigeon 2) Monarch butterfly Monarch butterflies flutter over the flower forests of Minecraft. They are passive mobs, but any predator that eat the butterflies can poison them. You can breed butterflies with flowers, and it needs a milkweed plant near it to lay their eggs. After some time, a caterpillar will hatch and munch on the milkweed's fresh leaves. If the caterpillar eats enough leaves, it will transform into a pupa, and eventually, it emerges as a butterfly. By exterminating these innocent creatures, you can acquire it's wings, to upgrade your elytra into a butterfly elytra STATS: HP: 4 (2 hearts) Behavior: Passive EASTER EGG: Naming a butterfly or caterpillar "Eric" (That's the best I could do) will change it's skin to look like the butterfly and caterpillar in "The Very Hungry Caterpillar", written by Eric Carle

Fun fact, the call that the bald eagle has in the mod is more accurate to the actual call of a bald eagle. The majestic call that you tend to hear in movies is taken from the recording of a red-tailed hawk. Furthermore, bald eagles tend to steal their prey from other birds more so than hunting for their own prey.

fun fact: them mod creator has added 2 mobs that this video doesn't have: the void worm (the first proper boss) and the frilled shark also some things that text couldn't get on the video: -if you righ click a cockroach with mimicream it will change colors non stop -if you give a mantis shrimp a water bucked it will be able to breathe out of water -the way the crows collecting ability works its that you order the crow to gather items and he delivers them on a chest with a frame of the item -there is a fedora item that you can give to a platypus an he will wear it -to be able to tame an elephant with tusks you need to make elephants breed and there is a chance that the baby has tusks -some of the mobs drop nothing when killed cause the mod maker doesn't want to encourage kill some endangered animals there is a slight possiblity I forgot about something so please dont kill me if I did
